These tinted lithographs by R. Mintern are from the Report on the Scientific Results of the Voyage of H.M.S. Challenger During the Years 1873-76 Under the Command of Captain George S. Nares, R.N., F.R.S. and the Late Captain Frank Tourle Thomson, R.N. Prepared under the Superintendence of the Late Sir C. Wyville Thomson, 1885-1895 .

Lithography by Mintern Brothers.  The condition of these plates is exceptionally good.  The plates are intact with full margins; the margins are trimmed in the photos only.  Double-page plates are continuous, not separated into individual pages.
